Job Description:
Pitney Bowes is seeking a Manager of Service Fleet Operations & Strategy to lead and manage our Service Transportation programs in North America.
This position will report to the Sr.
Director of Lifecycle, Insights, Knowledge and Optimization in the Technology & Optimization organization for Sending Technologies, a division of Pitney Bowes.
This role will have the accountability of the overall planning and administration for both a FAVR reimbursement and a company car program supporting the field service organization.
This position will work remotely and may require up to 25% travel.
We are looking for highly organized candidates with good quantitative ability to manage and improve our hybrid transportation program.
The scope and responsibilities for this important roll are listed below.
Supporting Field Service Management teams in the effective use of the auto reimbursement program Administration of auditing, invoicing, and payment for the FAVR and company car program Overseeing and approving repairs, rentals, and accidents for the company car program Managing the relationships for the fleet management and FAVR vendors, as well as finance partners Planning and ordering vehicles; working with the employee base to identify appropriate solutions for drivers Managing the vehicle delivery and vehicle return processes and coordinating with employees Managing the movement and transportation of vehicles when needed, making decisions on move/sell options Creating an annual budget and forecast for the transportation program Providing reports to management on budgeting, schedules, maintenance, and fleet progress Overseeing vehicle licensure, insurance, and registrations, and assisting drivers with missing documentation Managing the process for collection and timing for driver motor vehicle reports and maintaining records Managing the company owned car condition reporting program, audits, and corrective action Ensuring the onboarding process is updated and conveyed to new hire onboarding teams Ensuring compliance of the company with government regulations associated with the program Creating and maintaining policy and procedure documentation for the transportation program Developing methods to decrease cost and improve efficiency Maintaining and improving skills to keep up with and advise on industry trends About You As a Manager of Service Fleet Operations & Strategy you have the following skills:

An established knowledge of the regulations and customary practices for managing an auto reimbursement and a company owned fleet program Results-driven, perform well under pressure and can successfully prioritize and work against deadlines Team player mindset and willing to work collaboratively alongside peers in a support role Strong analytical skills ability to model scenarios for the best outcome Outstanding communications skills with leaders and colleagues Strong organization, time management and task prioritization skills An advanced understanding of human resources policy management Skilled in negotiating and contract management; procurement processes Expertise in MS Excel - managing data, records, exports, imports, and ad-hoc modeling Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Advanced skills in MS Teams and Office 365 Preferred Skill Set Expertise of human resources, regulations, and issues associated to the use of company vehicles (for Canada and USA geos) Experience with managing third party fleet management company relationships Experience in automotive repair and maintenance practices Experience in procurement for FAVR and fleet management service Experience in auto financing and TRAC leasing strategies Qualifications Educational Background Bachelor s Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or similar discipline Training and certification in automotive maintenance Training and/or certification in human resource policy development Experience 2 5 years experience in automotive fleet management preferred Demonstrated capabilities in logistics related training, supervision, planning, and problem-solving skills is required Demonstrated prior experience managing third party service providers preferred We will:
