Louisa Health & Rehabilitation Center - Louisa Health & Rehabilitation Center has an exciting new opportunity for a full time Medical Records Coordinator at our 90-bed skilled nursing center in beautiful Louisa!A' The Medical Records Coordinator is responsible for the overall maintenance of medical records, to include ensuring each record is properly labeled, complete, organized, and controlled.
Includes Release of Information, Patient Information Logs, Medicare Documentation, Death Reporting & Confidentiality.
A' Experience with medical records - to include 1-3 years of clinical experience in an office setting - is required.
Applicant must possess above average communication skills, the ability to follow directions and type at least 40 wpm, excellent organizational skills, and high emotional intelligence.
Must exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 25 pounds frequently.
A' The Central Supply Coordinator assesses the need for and provides supplies and equipment in an efficient manner and in accordance with applicable state, federal and MFA guidelines.
Maintains supply room areas with adequate inventory, follows proper purchasing procedures, and monitors MSDS with OSHA regulations.
Communicates regularly with nursing staff to ensure adequate supplies are obtained and available according to patient needs.
Ensures that supply and equipment charges are adequately communicated to Finance Department.
A' He or she communicates regularly with vendors and the center's interdisciplinary team.
